ViewSPORT Shirt and Watch Giveaway Winners

By , September 2, 2010 12:01 am

The winner of the I am the Competition ViewSPORT shirt is Amanda (Vegacious).

The winner of the white ViewSPORT watch is Kandi (Kandi Land).

Congratulations! Please email me your mailing addresses and I will ship the items your way.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and a big thanks to ViewSPORT for sponsoring the giveaway! I heard they are going to be designing some new shirts so make sure to check out their website!

I’ve been wearing my ViewSPORT watch all week. It’s nice and lightweight. And it comes in a cute little container!

I’ve even been wearing it with the Garmin while running, so I don’t have to use the Garmin to see what time it is. Ha ha.

Do you wear a watch when you exercise? What kind of stats do you keep – distance, time, pace, heart rate? Nothing?

  1. I really like that watch! I don’t like bulky things on my arms, that would be perfect for me. Is it waterproof?

  2. Joanne says:

Darn it! I missed this giveaway 🙁
I wear my Garmin and have 4 displays: the time of day (gotta make sure I make it home in time to get to work), average pace, miles, and running time. I’m obsessed with my Garmin and won’t run without it.

  3. Shutupandrun says:

That is the cutest watch I have ever seen.

  4. Megan says:

I am loving my new Garmin 405. I’m sorta obsessed with wearing it– even when I’m not running. But I guess the only thing I don’t like is that with the set-up I currently have, I also can’t see the time when I am looking at my pace and run. It is such a good change from so little information though!

  5. Amy says:

Hey Kim! I do love my Garmin – it actually looks just like yours – which model do you have? I like that it’s not big and square like the ones my mom and sister have.
The Wii fit yoga is not very difficult but it is a good stop gap when I am too lazy to do any real yoga! I’ve been trying to do it right after my runs for a good stretch – one advantage is that my feet are so sweaty that they really stick to my leg good when I do Tree Pose!

We have the 405 (not the big square 305).

So sticky legs help with tree pose? That does make sense. My legs always feel too slippery when I have pants on while doing yoga (as opposed to shorts, not being naked).

  6. Liz says:

I’m a Garmin girl myself. I didn’t know it had the actual time on it for a few months though. I keep pace, distance and time on the main screen.

  7. Kandi says:

    Yay! I won!
I wear a Timex Ironman while running (and while at work… but not on vacation). I don’t always run the chrono while I’m running… but I usually try to start it whenever I begin a race.
I’m contemplating getting a Garmin but I haven’t committed to the idea. Maybe some day.

  8. Leah says:

I run with a watch, but it records my distance and all that so I never use it to check the time. Thats just too much of a distraction for me!! 🙂

  9. Erin says:

I just wear my Garmin 405 and, as you know, sometimes I want to throw it across the room.

    Congrats to the giveaway winners!

  10. BostonRunner says:

I wear my Garmin usually, but I prefer nothing at all haha it weighs me down. I keep track is time, distance, pace.. nothing fancy

  11. RunningLaur says:

I saw you had that on at dinner!
With all the travel in the last week, I think I need to get an analog watch so that I can change the time zones on it easily and know what time it is on planes. But, I’m not good a wearing a watch. Oh the conundrum. (and I spelled conundrum right! win!)

  12. What a cute little watch!

I wear my Garmin 305 while running. I have it set to display the time of day, current pace, distance and overall workout time. I can’t eliminate the time of day, I have to know what time it is!

  13. Stephany says:

All this talk about Garmin makes Stephany a jealous girl. I really need to save up my money for one of them because I want one big time! I do worry about it weighing me down because I like to be very simple when running but I think the pros would outweigh the cons. 🙂
