Not a fan
Data just attacked my foot/ankle while I was playing the guitar (solo) on Rock Band.
Jeez, Data. Tell me how you really feel about the game.
Of course, I was too into the song to stop playing, but I did to yell at him. Now I have a long diagonal scratch that goes from my ankle to my foot.
I think the most I have even played Rock Band consecutively is for about an hour. When we are home enough to play for longer periods of time, we’re doing other things.
Which is fine with me. I don’t need to devote a ton of time to it. But Data gets so jealous when we turn it on. He sulks, and sits on the living room floor, far away from us, but so that we can still see him, with his back to us.
I guess he wouldn’t be too happy if I bought the Purr Pals game!
Themocracy
That’s Data’s way of telling you that he rocks harder than you do and you need to move over and let him rock with his bad, furry self.
That’s funny–my kitties run and hide when I play Guitar Hero. I think they don’t like the noise!
kapgar – I keep trying to get Data to try the vocals, but he just won’t do it! He probably plays all day while we are gone.
diane – Data definitely prefers the guitar over the drums. I think the noise, and the fact that I am hitting something, scares him.
Sometimes, when you’re kicking ass at Rock Band, you gotta let everything else go for the duration of the song. Looks like Data needs a lesson on why Rock Band rocks.
Now, I’ve not played it yet, but do play Guitar Hero. At least it’s wireless. I can’t imagine a wired controller with cats.
martymankins – EXACTLY! I usually can’t even TALK when I am playing. It took a lot just to yell “NO, DATA!” The guitar is wireless, but the drums aren’t. I NEVER leave him alone with them. He likes to chew on things 😉
I just got a message from Data, he said come back home Mommy ~ don’t be a rock star / I NEED you!!!
(if you don’t I’ll end up like all those other rock star children and will become dysfunctional and start behaving destructively!)
