Stale
The example in number 4 above describes my feelings perfectly. And that’s all I will get in to about that.
I really hope my new work detail (whenever it starts) will be a refresher for me. And the vacation to New York City should help too. And maybe the excitement of the upcoming holiday season.
In other news, Erin and I went to a fun jewelry and accesories show on Saturday. I got this necklace and earrings set for $6!
I also got two new scarves, two hats, and a few holiday gifts for people. I know a few people think I am overdoing it with the scarves, but look – I don’t have one on today!
Pretty….you should have flexed your biceps in the picture – to show them off! 😉
I thought about doing an entire post on my weird left bicep, but didn’t want Steven to take it the wrong way 😛
Cute necklace!
I get that stale work feeling too… I really need a vacation but I don’t really have anything planned other than a day here and there. I’m taking Monday off though to recover from the marathon (and because I have vacation days I need to use).
Cute necklace and earrings and great price!
I love that shirt (AND the jewelry!).
I really hope that between the NY trip and your new detail, you’ll be feeling more like yourself again 🙂
I completely understand the stale feeling. I also feel like I’ve been going 100 miles an hour for the past few months. I need/want some time to recharge! Maybe you need that, too, in addition to your NYC trip and the possible new detail.
The necklace and earrings look great! Still can’t believe how cheap the jewelry was!
Yeah, I am just doing way too much. I need relaxation/lazy time!
I do think that taking time off and being away can help re-energize one’s spirit a bit and give you a lift, both emotionally and physically.
Oh the vacation will definitely help. I always feel so much better after some time off.
That dictionary description is accurate for my job, too. And like you, I’ve got a vacation coming up soon (this week is Vegas and Legoland in California).
Hope the stale will take a back seat for a while.
You can never overdo it with scarves! They are a must have transitional item in our climate.
Oh, I so feel you! I feel like I’m in such a rut right now. Hang in there!!!
LOVE the new necklace and earrings! So cute!!! 🙂
Hope the “staleness” rubs off soon!
You can never have too many scarves!
Cute!! I love getting new jewelry — and that necklace looks great with that top.
