Toilet Cat
It seems the kittens have entered full-on destructo mode, as of this week.
On Wednesday, Apollo knocked over a plant and rolled around in the dirt. I thought it was pretty funny, but judging on Steven’s reaction, it was not appropriate to take a photo. Ha.
On Thursday night, Starbuck started attacking our feet while we sleep, whether we are moving them or not.
On Friday, Apollo decided bookmarks are toys. And books. EVERYTHING’S A TOY!!! (duh)
Tails? Definitely toys.
And about the title of this post? I was going to the bathroom yesterday, and Apollo came in. As I was getting up, he jumped IN TO the toilet, before I could flush or close the lid.
He wasn’t even phased. Not until I turned on the sink to wash off his paws anyway.
He now has a new nickname “Toilet Cat,” and song, sung to the tune of “Smelly Cat.”
Oh, Apollo. You troublemaker.
I know this is just the beginning of destructo mode! I can’t wait to share what they get in to next, muah ha ha.

Sounds like kittens and Cooper are on the same wavelength. I let him push one of the mini carts at Trader Joe’s the other day and while I turned to grab something he ran and slammed into a cereal display and knocked the whole thing over! Then later while I showered, he dumped most of my makeup in the toilet.
Oh my gosh! Did the people at TJ’s laugh about it? He IS a troublemaker!
Did you have to replace all that makeup? 🙁 I think he was saying “Mom, you are beautiful without makeup!”
Everyone around us laughed and the staff were so nice about it. He was just helping me clean out my makeup. I hardly wear most of it and I needed to clean it out anyway before we move.
I’m glad they were nice about it! And that it wasn’t a big deal with the makeup!!!

So is Apollo the obvious troublemaker? It seems like it from this post! I can’t believe he got in the toilet and didn’t care. I thought cats hated being wet.
Yeah, I think he is. Starbuck is definitely mischievous… but Apollo goes out of his way to make trouble. Which makes us laugh.
I was surprised he didn’t care about that part too! He was in there less than a second. Maybe it happened too fast for him to freak!
Well, now I have the smelly cat song stuck in my head! hahaha

Oh man, Apollo sounds like quite the handful! Let no mess go uncreated! Hahaha. I can’t believe he jumped in the toilet!! I wonder what about that seemed in any way appealing, haha.

You guys have quite the kitten in Apollo – and Toilet Cat is a great nickname, although the way he acquired it is yucky. Love that conga line of tail playing picture – they are so cute!
