So happy I could cry!
How many days in a row can I blog about cats? ALL THE DAYZZZ!!!
I didn’t mention it, but when we visited the kittens on Thursday, Bobbi came with us to meet and play with them!
But she also came to meet mama cat…
… and today she went back and filled out the paperwork to adopt her! AHHHHH!!!!
I’m so excited! For many reasons – mama cat will have a loving home, Bobbi and her family will have a cat after she’s wanted one for years, and I will get to have a relationship with mama cat (and can tell the kittens to shape up or I am gonna “talk to their mom,” ha ha ha).
I was feeling especially guilty about mama cat not having a home yet (even though the veterinarian’s office told me they’d foster her and find her a home), because when I called the vet’s office once they told me they thought WE should adopt her. That they’d talked about families that would be good for her and they thought of us. Sigh. She’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met, but I didn’t want to bring another adult female cat in to our home. And I didn’t realize how bad I felt about that until Bobbi told me they are adopting her and I literally felt so happy I teared up.
So, yay! So excited for mama cat and Bobbi and her family!!!

Yay! I’ve got two adopted feline babies and every day I want to take more in (not practical in a little apartment), so I love that mama cat got a great home. And I absolutely love the pic of mama cat and Bobbi.

Oh yes! It’s a good thing Bobbi was ready for mama cat because I don’t think she had a choice about not adopting her. They’re made for each other.
So nice of you to ask about the babies. It could be I’m biased, but they’re the best! They’re named after moons – Callisto (Callie) is a placid tortie who loves food and Phoebe is an absolutely mental sweetheart who needs cuddles all. the. time!! They love each other too and are completely inseparable.
Right? Bobbi said when she went back to fill out the papers that mama cat just sat in her lap and purred. I bet she knew 😉 <3
Awwww! They sound amazing! And I especially love kitties that love cuddles! And isn't it nice to know that they get to live with their bestie cat and bestie human? I didn't realize until we adopted Khali, how much Data loves other cats. Oops.
I told John today, “I think Kim’s as excited about this as I am!” And now I know I was right!
Love her so much….can’t wait to have her here!! Come visit ANYTIME!

About half the time in the past couple of weeks I get the mobile version on my desktop, just so you know.
