Things I’m excited about in May!
- Getting my car back from the shop
- A pre-race massage!
- Friends staying over before the Wisconsin Half
- Two races
- Actually riding my bike outside
- Finishing Titan. Maybe I will post a list of all the words I had to look up. Most of them are words I’ve never heard before. Some of them are words being used in ways I am not familiar (example: “betray” to mean “reveal unconsciously”). And some of them are words I should know but don’t remember.
- Writing about the outdoor cat house
- Seeing baby goslings! First sighting yesterday:
- The leaves filling out on the trees. They all started to fill out when I was in Dallas two weekends ago:
- Another trip to Dallas!
- Figuring out when we’ll see William next!
- A graduation party for a friend’s kid
- CPR class (it’s time to renew my certification)
- Getting over this cold – I am feeling better today, yay!
What’s on your list?
That’s a lot of good stuff to look forward to!
I’d love to see a list of words you had to look up in Titan! I’ve been so curious about that ever since you mentioned that the vocabulary in the book was insane.
I’ll have to post them! I am having a hard time learning the ones that mean similar things. But I am learning the ones where it’s a word used for as second meaning I didn’t know.
There *is* something nice about May! Sounds like you have a busy month – in a good way.
Yes! All good things!!! And we have one completely free weekend, which I am excited about and didn’t mention! I don’t like being booked up all the time.
This weekend will be fun with a massage, friends and race 🙂
Heidi and I are going to the preserve after work today – I was wondering how soon we’d see the goslings! They’re cute and all, but I’m not a fan of the geese hissing at me (which is why I take Heidi to protect me ha ha ha)
I’m looking forward to NOT traveling this month, though it will still be pretty busy.
Oh fun! You will see LOTS of them there! Especially by the southern most parking lot! Heidi better nap a lot today so she is ready to protect you!
That is a wonderful thing to look forward to. I was hoping May would be like that for us, but I am happy Steven will get to see our Texas fam. Maybe June… (although I really want to see William 🙁 )
When you come to Dallas, please bring the cooler weather with you again – I appreciated it so much last time! 😉
I will do my best! I haven’t visited past April before! I am scared! Ha ha.
Sounds like you’ve got a fun month ahead of you! The goslings are so cute 🙂
Are you running Door County or the one in Kenosha? Just wondering, Wendy and Holly are going to be running Door County.
Sorry I didn’t respond until now! I ran Kenosha.
