Things I’m excited about in April!
- Riding my bike outside (starting in March, today, with a ride with my dad)!
- Seeing my family this weekend, and doing a 5K together.
- Sending out a new newsletter for Essential Fitness that I’ve been working on.
- Going to my coworker’s baby shower!
- Handing out the fun treats I got for the “Easter” (it’s the day before) fitness boxing class.
- Seeing Fate of the Furious with Steven (I bought our tickets this week)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Going to Texas for Luca’s sixth birthday!
- Date nights with friends!
- Gifting several birthday/a few other special occasion gifts.
- Naps. Please. Let there be naps.
Ha, this list is almost always the same things, isn’t it?!
What’s on your list?
Oooh, I’m excited for FofF (FF8!) too! We’ll have to discuss it after we both see it.
What’s your favorite Easter treat? (To eat? To give?)
Yes! I can’t wait! Did you get your tickets?
Hmmm. I used to really like Reese’s PB eggs – perfect chocolate/PB ratio. But I don’t really have a favorite, for me, anymore. And I usually give the Reese’s eggs or Cadbury eggs.
Sounds like you’ve got a lot of fun things for the month! Given how busy it is, the naps sound like a necessary component 🙂
Ha ha ha. They really are! This past weekend completely exhausted me and I am dragging big time today!
March was a crappy month, so I’m not sad to say good-bye, even though some positives happened in it…
But April – YES to riding outside! I’m also excited because I think that a nagging injury is finally healed, so hello to running!
Sounds like you have some great plans, so enjoy the month.
I hope your April is much better with cycling and running! I’m happy to hear you’re feeling healed!
Did you knit the gift for the baby shower? I have some baby knitting to get started on soon, once the gender is known. Can’t wait – tiny baby things are so cute!
I didn’t! She made a blanket herself, and that is probably what I would have made! Are you going to make a hat? Or another sweater?!
Well, if it’s a girl (and that’s a big IF – everyone seems to be having boys lately), I’ll do a sweet little knit dress, and probably a sweater, and a hat…my friend is a knitter and appreciates handknit items, so it will be extra fun. Boy baby will get a sweater and hats. 🙂
Ooo! I can’t wait until you find out and can get started!!!!! Have you made a little dress before?!
I didn’t know we had boxing the day before Easter! Somehow I missed that, so I’m glad you said something here 🙂
I’m excited for two trips home to Ohio this month! One for my race, and then going back for a family bridal shower the following weekend.
I am happy you saw it!
Oh, awesome! Those will both be fun weekends!
I’m excited for not one but TWO trips in April!!! This is extra exciting because I rarely take trips. But I’m visiting my bestie Vera in Seattle (and seeing Radiohead together!!!) and then for our 10 year wedding anniversary (OMG how did that happen?) we’re taking a long weekend in SW Michigan.
Awesome! Those will both be a blast!!!
I’m so happy spring is here…I’m looking forward to my middle son passing his driver’s test tomorrow (fingers crossed) after months and months of driving around with him so he can practice…
Ooo! How did it go?!
I was so excited to get out on my bike too- and then it snowed another 10 inches yesterday. Bah! But on the plus side, I’m loving the continued cold weather for running. Things I am excited for this month- Cooper’s first Easter, Reese’s peanut butter eggs, and my husband’s birthday.
Oh man! That is crazy! I hope it melts fast!
That is a good list! Man, I used to LOVE those PB eggs (when I still ate dairy). Perfect ratio of chocolate to PB!!!! ENJOY!!
Naps. Just naps.
I can’t wait until life allows me to squeeze in a boxing class with you!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas. I bet you need some after your vacay!
Me too! We should specifically plan one around your schedule. I hope guitar lessons are going well! 🙂
