Steven says to me in bed this morning “There’s poop on my face.”
Um, what? I must have not heard that right. “What’d you say?”
“There’s poop on my face.”
Oh man, I’m thinking. What did Data do? I just fed him! He is going to be in so much trouble!
I turn and look at Steven.
Oh.
Ha ha. There is a poop emoji pillow on his face. Ha.
Ahh, the poop emoji. One of my favorite emojis. My mom was just telling me about how she was at an event recently, and as an ice breaker, everyone wrote a question on a piece of paper, crumbled it up, threw it in the center of the room, then everyone grabbed a random question to answer. Hers was (you guessed it) “what’s your favorite emoji?”
Lamely (ha ha, just kidding) she answered “the smiley face emoji” (zzzzzzzz, Mom), but she did the story about how she never thought there would be a good use for the poop emoji, until I used it in a text to tell her my septic tank needed to be replaced. Apparently, the group thought that was very funny. <— insert smiley face emoji.
Speaking of poop emojis, I can’t wait until our other bathroom is ready to use again. It will be nice to go back to having two toilets in the house. This must really be on my mind, because I actually dreamt we had a third toilet that I had just forgotten about. Ha!

I definitely like the poop emoji and think that it has its place and time. I also like the beer and pizza emojis as well though.
It’s funny – I actually had asked for this pillow on my Christmas wishlist years ago, but it was unavailable when the person tried to get it for me! Flash forward to February, and my bestie Gina sends me a pic of it (in the store) as a joke, and I am like “OMG I HAVE WANTED THAT FOR YEARS!” so she sent it to me 🙂
Yes, those are good ones too! Steven likes to add the pizza emoji randomly to texts to be funny. It’s his signature thing. Ha.

It would be hard for us to go back to having only one toilet in the house! Soon (hopefully) we will have three…so many pooping choices!

But, sorry to be a party POOPer, but I hate the stupid poop emoji. I don’t get why people are so obsessed with poop.
LOL! Are people obsessed with poop? I like to use this emoji to say things like “crappy day,” or “that’s crappy” etc. I do use it when I talk to my runner friends about some runs… regarding the actual bathroom function 😉
Maybe it’s just runners? I’ve never heard so much poop talk until I became a runner. Not sure what the connection is – I mean, everybody does it! I swear RW posts an article on Facebook every other day about bowel movements.
Yeah, it’s common for runners to talk about it because it’s so crucial for many to go before they run so they don’t have incidents – myself included 😉
I don’t think I’ve ever used the poop emoji! It makes me feel weird. But the praise hands and heart eyes emoji? ALL over those.
Those are good ones! I like the service lady (one hand up) but I use her in the sense of raise the roof, lol!

Lol that pillow is amazing!! I’m a big fan of the poop emoji too. And th crying one lately because I’ve been in a mood for a while and I feel it represents my whiny-ness perfectly . I’m glad Data wasn’t to blame 🙂

LOLOLOL. There are some really hilarious emojis out there. I learn about a lot of them from seeing other folks using them. My favorite one is the Bread emoji because Bread is the nickname of my favorite Blackhawks player. =)

Woodfield Mall has a whole kiosk selling stuffed emojis. They’re mostly full of s$&t though. Heh heh.

I’ve used the bull emoji and poop emoji together in a text before.
I love the poop emoji too! Although I think my favorite is the knife. We had a speaker at work who told stories about singles events she organized. And one of the activities was someone coming up on stage and being asked random, rapid-fire questions. And one of those questions (There’s a lot of exposition in my story, apparently.) was to open up your phone and show the most recently used emoji. I thought that was a pretty good one. (I just checked. Mine is the knife, hahaha.)
That is a good question… and could potentially tell you a lot about the person! Right now mine is the regular smiley face. Boring!
I get mad when I can’t find the knife emoji fast enough in google hangouts!
