Notes:
- Ha ha, what a goofy weather week. Some runs were in shorts and a tank… and one run was in full winter gear, while it was snowing. Ahh, spring in the midwest!
- My long run was the first time since moving (so just over eight weeks) that I’ve used my hydration back pack – I’ve been too lazy until now! But some of the routes I want to run don’t have places to get water, and my handheld is barely enough for eight miles when it’s not hot, so backpack it is!
- March Recap! In March I ran 206 miles and cycled 104.25 miles. I taught 9 strength classes, 2 fitness boxing classes, 1 Burn & Buff class, and 1 indoor cycling class. I rode my bike 9 times outside of class (once outside!), and also did 6 strength sessions at home. My coldest outdoor run was 21°F and my warmest was 65°F. I did four doubles (runs) to get mileage in on my busier work weeks.
Yay for another strong training week and month! Yes on the crazy weather, especially the on-and-off blizzards/50 MPH winds yesterday intermixed with clear blue skies. Most bipolar weather I’ve ever experienced in Chicago. Congrats on your fast-finish long run!
I think it was the craziest weather I have seen in Chicago too, and that says a lot! The radar was ridic if you looked at it – it showed the spots of snowstorms passing through!
Bipolar is exactly the way I described it too!
You are quite the beast 🙂 I mean that in the every nicest way…
Your runs are kicking butt!
Don’t say the “h” word, I am not ready for heat, but it is coming.
Thanks 🙂
Someone told me yesterday they heard we’ll have a hot summer. No gracias! Ha ha.
