Notes:

  • Ugh, this week was really busy in my work and personal life (lots of appointments at the new house, packing our old house and moving to a rental house…). I felt guilty for taking time to work out, but knew I needed to do the runs to keep my sanity.
  • I decided to register for the Dallas Marathon last Monday night! Then Tuesday morning, had one of my most “meh” runs of the training cycle. Ha! That’s how it goes, right? Blah, I don’t care for the taper/running less.
  • Teaching cycling and fitness boxing was really fun on Saturday! I’m looking forward to teaching fitness boxing two more times this month.
  • November recap time! In November I ran 211.4 miles and cycled 53 miles. I taught 10 strength classes, and kept up with my strength at home, woo hoo! On to the last month of the year!

Isn’t the Dallas Marathon like this weekend?!

  2. Chaitali says:

Wow, that’s cool that you decided to do that marathon last minute! Were you planning on being in Dallas anyway or is the whole trip impromptu?

We booked tickets to be in Dallas this weekend over the summer 🙂 And I’ve been training with the race in mind – just wasn’t sure if I’d choose to run it or not.

  3. Jen2 says:

Congrats on getting through THAT week!!

  4. Xaarlin says:

Awesome training despite all the busy in your life this week! I’m super happy you’ll be able to run Dallas 🙂 I’m almost the same -but backwards with you for November mileage. I had 262 cycling and 55 running.

  5. Wow 211 miles, way to get after it

  6. Beth says:

Ooh, congrats on signing up for the Dallas Marathon how exciting! It’s so funny how mediocre to crummy runs always seem to happen after big, exciting running moments. Good luck with packing and moving! 🙂

    • kilax says:

Thank you! 🙂 Ha ha, I guess one time I got a free marathon entry then went on a random awesome 20 miler, so they aren’t always bad! LOL

  7. OMG, you are running the Dallas Marathon this weekend!?!?!? You never cease to amaze me, Kim!!! ROCK ON!!!

  8. I’m so glad you are running!! Do you have any goals for the race? other than have fun of course 🙂

Thanks – it’s my holiday present to myself! I plan to PR, if the weather is right – the marathon is the only distance I won’t do purely for fun! 😉
