Yay! First house (I’ve seen) in our hood to turn their holiday lights on!
And the local radio station started playing holiday music today.
Ahhhh. They both put a smile on my face and calmed me down, which I really needed. I’ve had a highly anxious week and need to CHILL THE EFF OUT.

someone on our street has put up their christmas lights too. The lady does it every year the weekend after Halloween.
Awesome! When I was running with my dad on Nov 1 we saw someone putting their lights up! Ha – I don’t know when they turned them on, though.
By the title, I thought you had just bought your first house! Well, congrats to you anyway! 🙂

A few houses in my neighborhood have their lights up/trees up already. I’m not quite ready, but it does lift my spirits a touch! Sorry to hear you are having an anxious week! It sounds like it’s in the air lately!! <3
I listened to Christmas music this week at work. I think it helps with the stress level. I haven’t seen any houses yet, but it would definitely put a smile on my face.
Bummer that you’re having such a stressful week! I’m glad you’ve at least got some things in your environment, like this house, to cheer you up. (And also glad that Christmas music and decorations don’t stress you out further!)
