Notes:

  • Holy cow, I had DOMS so bad late Tuesday and Wednesday, from teaching those two Monday night strength classes. Lesson learned (derrrr) – don’t go all out when teaching back to back classes, Kim!
  • But! The new class went really well! The students are a lot of fun and they picked it up quickly! I’m looking forward to working with them again this Monday.
  • Next week is my first (of two) peak weeks of training and I am really excited! I am doing a virtual half marathon on Tuesday and a 22 miler on Saturday! Fun fun fun!
  • The forecast is calling for some lows in the 10s and 20s next week! That is totally fine with me – if the wind mostly goes away. Ha ha! Would you rather run in “cold” temps or in warmer temps with high winds?

    Cold Temps all the way!

  2. I vote anything without wind. I hate the wind.

I super duper love that photo of Bobbi and you. You both look so happy, vibrant and strong.

When I teach/taught back-to-back, I usually picked one class where I mostly instructed/coached rather than led by doing. It can get hard on those muscles!

  3. COLD! I hate the wind. The wind is my nemesis.

  4. Amy says:

I don’t mind running in the 20s as long as there is no wind. And I prefer to go for longer runs to stay warm. Lower than the 20s, however, it can be pretty cold. Are you doing another marathon? I missed this info…

  5. jan says:

Your”would you rather” answer? Neither. I hate both. LOL I do think wind is my very least favorite, but if it’s humid, I’ll tell you that is my least favorite. At least with wind you can turn and get a break from it.

Glad you had such a great week!

  6. Pam says:

COLD COLD COLD!!! Always cold! Never hot! And no wind! And preferably overcast. haha Yes, I’m a fair-weather runner.

What virtual half are you doing?

  7. Erin says:

I’m happy your new strength class went well! Do they seem excited, too?

I really don’t mind cold but wind is the worst. Especially cold wind!

  8. Tiina says:

I don’t do cold, so I would definitely say heat. I know everyone runs better when not overheating, but I just seriously hate the cold!
