Notes:
- It’s dark out in the early am now (duh!) and my headlamp seemed a bit dim, so you know, instead of changing the batteries, I ordered a new one. HOLY COW. My new headlamp has about a zillion settings – high beam, low beam, red lights, strobes. Whoa. Fancy schmancy. And most importantly – it’s brighter than… something very bright.
- I was lucky enough to get to run with my dad again this week! We did a run/walk for the first part of my long run then he accompanied me on his bike. Have you ever had a run that feels like you are doing an easy pace for you, then looked at your watch and thought “no wonder this feels so easy, I am going slower than I normally do”? That was this Sunday. The humidity was super high, but I felt decent, and like I was hitting a lower pace. Um, no. I slowed down. Ha ha ha.
- It was Steven’s idea to go on a canoeing trip for our wedding anniversary and I am so happy he suggested it! We had a lot of fun canoeing together. And! I didn’t tip the canoe!
- Hopefully I will have more time on my bike next week… <— broken record.
