Too early?
Comments (29) What do you guys think – is it too early to be buying holiday gifts? How about thinking* about buying them?

I think I can answer my own question. Yes Kim, it is too early, because:
- You have only figured out half of the October birthday gifts
- You have not planned out your Halloween costume
- You haven’t even drawn gift exchange names in your family (yet that did not stop us from picking up something for my sister’s fiancé the other day, oops)
- Most of your friends are thinking about running their fall marathons – maybe your focus should be on running too
Ha ha. I think I ask this question on my blog every year, only earlier and earlier each year. Hey! I waited until October 1! The truth is, I have had holiday gift ideas since mid-summer. I think what I will do is add the ideas on to our shared gift idea google doc (yeah, Steven and I are that dorky) and focus on some of those other things on the list…
*what I mean is, planning out ideas for what to get certain people
