Lessons learned:
- Don’t get a cold. Ha ha. If only it were that easy.
- Bring more than three tissues for a long run if you have a cold.
- Getting dropped from the group is still better than not running at all.
Nice bounce back, girl! I wish I had known about the run on Saturday, but my mileage is so low anyway:) Have a great week!
I should have sent you an email. I tried to find you on Facebook (where it was set up) and couldn’t. I will let you know about the next one! 🙂
Go ZOOMA! 🙂
Glad you’re feeling better. 🙂
So sorry to hear that you were under the weather this past week, but glad to hear that you are feeling better now! Holy mileage on Saturday one day after still not feeling 100%. I only wish I could run 14 miles and bike 7 miles that quickly while trying to recover from a cold!
The bike ride was heavily encouraged by the fact that there was food in the middle. Muah hahahahahaha.
Glad you are feeling better!
I think there must be some awful bug going around that’s determined to destroy runners’ training plans. I’m impressed that you got in as much running as you did while you were sick. I hope you’re starting to feel better!
Who needs tissues on a run?! Don’t tell me you’ve been a runner this long and haven’t mastered the art of snot-rocketry yet!
Oh yes, I have mastered it 😉 Just not when I am sick and my snot is more liquid than solid and trying the farmer’s blow just shoots is all over my mouth and on my clothes. Fun times. 😉
Anyone else hear the alternative expression to blowing snot-rockets: “Farmer’s blow?” I guess ’cause farmers don’t bring more than three tissues when they are out in the fields?!
Ha ha ha! That is what I know them as too. I would just use my sleeve if I was a farmer. As it is, I usually blow it in to my shirt. EWWWW
Yup, EWWWW is right! But, on the other hand, who’s ever going to find out? 🙂
Yep bad cold or bad allergies. I hope you are feeling better. No sleep, can’t breath = no running. BLAH~
Glad you are feeling better now, Kim!
Welcome back to the land of the living!
So glad to hear that you are feeling better! Sounds like your Zooma run was a good one. It’s fun to read about this group, and sounds like a ton of fun!!
