Training Week 146
Highlight of the Week: Running a faster pace with friends. I’ve been so slow on my own this summer, it’s nice to run with friends at a faster pace and be distracted by conversation.

Lessons learned:
- I need to get my sh*t together. The end.
get your shit together? you mean that 40 miles a week, an ultra marathon, and 3 strength training sessions are not enough for you? 🙂
Ha ha. Yeah. I am a lot better at getting stuff done in the winter, it seems. 🙂 I am just not running as much as I would like, but I am happy to be able to run at all!
I think the 65M bike ride equals two days of activity. I’m LOL over “…Brian has lost his mind.”.
You should have seen Brian at our Wed night class. He was super hyper and energetic and we were all getting more and more worn out. It was awesome 😉
Great job! Your Tuesday run picture is so cute!
I am also surprised you think you need to do more. Does your training plan for the 50K have a lot more runs in it?
It has me running 5x a week. What’s most important is probably the long runs and that I do a longish run the day after to run on tired legs. Which I did this week. But I didn’t run the other days because I was being lazy! 😉 (watching the Olympics and being annoyed by the heat)
I’m proud of you girly! You kill it week after week, and it’s very inspiring!! 🙂
