Lessons learned:
- A heavy exercise weekend will have me tired well in to the next week (re: last weekend, not this one).
- I seem to be less likely to get my runs in on vacation if I am NOT signed up for something. Note to self: make up damn mind about 50K.
Way to go! I am not sure how you do it, but you simply amaze me!! Reading your weekly recaps makes me want to get out there and run.
Aww, thanks Linz! 🙂 When I was in NYC we were all talking about your epic beer run!!!
I like the Wednesday photo – looks like you are in training for something! Maybe sword fighting?
I’m always torn about running on vacation. Sometimes it’s great – lets you see different parts of the place that you are visiting. But other times, it adds yet another stress to what may already be a packed schedule.
So, good for you for getting out there!
I feel like a ninja when I have that bar! I like working with them. Man. My hammies were feeling the deadlifts the following days though!
Yeah – I usually love to run when I travel, but the sleep just felt so good… as did spending time with my friends!
I thought the 50K was a done deal.
I am so indecisive! Want to go run up there together?
Great training week and pictures!!! Is there a story behind the Sunday picture?!?!? The 5K you ran on Sunday – was that a race? If so, I can’t wait to hear the race recap!
It was! I have yet to post the race recap, but Gina’s is up and I bet she would love some encouragement 🙂 http://milewon.wordpress.com/2012/07/16/ginas-inferno/
Your photo collages are the best – I love them! As for the 50K, you would seriously kick its ass so my vote is YES! 🙂
Aww, thanks! 🙂
My face is as red as your shirt! Geez! I think it took everything in my power to pose for that picture, lol. Luca wants to know when you are going to push him in his stoller again! He had fun even though he didn’t crush his PR. Hahah.
I am trying to find a stroller for here so we can beat that PR!
Looks like a nice cut back week so you could recover from your busy weekend the week before 🙂
