All that matters is the cake
My sister had a special retirement cake made for my dad.
I was scrolling through some pictures my aunt Sue gave me and saw these two of my dad and the cake next to its inspiration:

When you go to an afternoon open house what kind of food are you most looking forward to consuming?

I could not eat the fancy car cake or the sheet cake (contained eggs and dairy), but since I am a brat, my mom’s mom made me a special vegan cake. My family loves me, they really do!
Kid, quit eyeing my cake! (Ha ha, I gave some to his mom and she fed it to him. He ate vegan cake! Ahh! SCARY!!!)

Cake was awesome!My friends Dad had a car like this and he drove her to her wedding in it. It was so cool! He then drove it home (horrible it rained!) and he dried it off before parking it during the break from ceremony to reception. Bad ass!

The Firefly run is on 9/15/2012 at Montrose Harbor. Looks like they are also going to have a 10K. It really was fun.
This cake is so cute! I think I would feel bad ruining it just to eat it… Also, is the girl wearing a dress your sister? I think you look alike, but I might be wrong. I’m sorry if you mentioned this before.

I’m not a huge cake person (if there are other desserts I’ll go for those first). So I guess I don’t know what I need to have at a shindig! Something easy to snack on that doesn’t require a lot of utensils, I suppose.
Looks like everyone had fun, though! And, yeah, I would go with nude hose instead of tights with that dress. Yes, I said hose. Even though I hate them.
I was only adding the tights for warmth too! I should have just gone nude. Ha ha. There was lots of work at the party that involved bending over to get under a table and I kept asking Will/Anthony/Nick/Courtney to do that stuff for me so no one would see up my dress.
Which food would I look forward to eating? All of it. Plus caaaaaake. That lil boy eyeing your cake is so cute! I hope he will be okay after eating vegan cake. : P

You know, I tried the white jacket on with that dress and it did look the best out of everything I had. But I just was not feeling it! I got a few cardigans during my lunch break to try today. And a few more belts… and a jacket!
