So much to say…

And no time to write!

I feel like I have a lot to tell you guys:

  • All about my awesome trip to NYC with Erin.
  • Our crazy plane ride home.

  • That my two best friends met!

  • How it feels strange to be in NYC and not be with Gina and Steve (not bad, just weird).
  • The surprise visit from my parents.

  • That my favorite coworker found my blog. Hi, favorite coworker.
  • That the Target Pharmacy did not put my prescription in my bag and I did not realize it until this morning… and they thought I was lying when I called about it. Sigh.
  • That I have one giveaway and one review/giveaway coming up.
  • How happy I am that most of my team is not in the office today. Nice and quiet…

But I don’t have time to write. I’d rather catch up on all your blogs first… maybe tonight. Geesh. That week away really set me off! What are your first priorities when you get back from time away? Mine tend to be going through my email inbox! And laundry. Always laundry.

Mine would be kitty litter clean out and grocery shopping.

  2. Kelly says:

Hey, I know that skirt …

    • kilax says:

I wore it both days this weekend. It’s nice for hot weather, unless you sit down and your butt gets all sweaty.

  3. Target forgot to give your prescription? Crazy!

The first thing I am going to do when I get back is introduce the kitties to Isaac. Geezzz I hope it goes well.

  4. Erin says:

Stupid Target! Boo on them! You’d think their inventory system would show that it wasn’t picked up. Or maybe I’m giving them too much credit.

Maybe you should have some wine when you get home? 🙂

  5. J says:

When I get back from anywhere I have to unpack! I just need everything back in its place. Then I grocery shop! Need food after everything is clean!

  6. Kayla says:

I feel like I have no time right now as well. Sorry about target. Stuff like that happens…I’ve been the one making the mistake before, but that sucks that they thought you were lying about it. Speaking of laundry..I really need to do some 🙂

    • kilax says:

I figured it was just human error and no big deal but they were insisting I had it. I wouldn’t lie, lol!

  7. Marcia says:

Welcome back! Yes, laundry. And getting the dogs from the kennel, the mail then grocery shopping.

  8. Extra time? What’s that? 😉 Can’t wait to hear about your trip and all your other updates!

P.S. – I’ve been at Native Foods like every other day. You’ve created a monster!

    • kilax says:

HA HA HA. Native Foods is the best. We need to meet up soon! But maybe lunch from home outside 🙂

  9. Melie says:

This looks like a fun trip! I have only taken very short, work-related trips lately, so I am insanely jealous. My suitcase doesn’t even qualify for a full load of laundry. I guess grocery shopping?

    Nice photos from the road/air/ground.

After a trip, I like to get everything unpacked and back to it’s normal spots.

Thank you for the unexpected hospitality and use of the garage, I still can’t believe I didn’t make any more mess than I did. I know we would be the last thing you’d want to deal with after your trip.

    • kilax says:

You are always welcome! I enjoyed seeing you and was impressed you were able to “fix” the truck in our garage 🙂 What is its status now?

      • dad says:

Made it home without any leakage, $1500 to fix properly (with some upgrades) if I take it back out. May be going to KC at some point so it will get done.

  12. Kandi says:

Sounds like you’ve been busy too! I have been trying to catch up blog reading since I’ve been back – mostly on my phone and without commenting. I’m sure everyone understands. 😉
    Loving the stripey skirt! 🙂

  13. Mica says:

Sadly, my priority is usually checking my email…even though I checked it while I was on vacation. My internet addiction is so sad.

    • kilax says:

Mine too. Hey! Weren’t you going to work on that this year? I thought I remembered you talking about it 🙂

  14. Kristina says:

I would say sorting through the snail mail is one of my favorite ‘first-things’ task. Also, if it is a trip away from the pups, lots of good loving with them!
