Season of Giving Giveaway #5: Photography
As a thank you to my readers, I am doing one giveaway a week until Christmas. This is the final giveaway, giveaway #5! The giveaways all reflected different interests of mine, and this one is… photography!
You all know how much I love photography… and not that I am that talented at it, but that I love to take photos and plaster them all over my home and at work (photo evidence here). It just makes me happy to glance around in be surrounded by photos of good memories and people I love.
We have a few traditional frames in our home, but we use many other things to display photos – magnets, magnetic frames, a folding photo frame, a memory board, and pins. This giveaway will be for a few things that you can use to display your favorite photos, including:
- Some fun Phone App Magnets
- A black acrylic photo frame (for a 4×6) (click here to see better)
- A cable photo holder
Photography Giveaway Rules
- One reader will receive the magnets, frame and cable.
- Required to enter the giveaway: leave me a comment telling me where you like to get your photos printed, and how often you have them printed!
- Optional extra entry: share this link on your blog and leave an additional comment letting me know you did.
- This giveaway is open until 5:00 PM CST on Friday December 23. I will use random.org to select the winner. I will announce the winner on Saturday December 24.
- This giveaway is open to all readers.
When we first made the switch to a digital camera in 1999, I used to be really good about getting our photos printed. I would order them from Snapfish or Shutterfly and get them shipped here. Lately though I have gotten lazy about getting them printed out, which is a shame.
Mostly I order from Kodakgallery.com but it’s been far too long since I’ve ordered hard copies of photos. I think the last time I ordered from walmart.com because my brother sends me all his family pics through their website and you can’t copy to other sites because they show up as low-quality images. I really need to get prints printed soon and I might just go to Target or Ritz.
I order from Snapfish or (whispering) sometimes I print them off at work.
How does the cable photo holder work?
It comes with magnets so you can “attach” the photos to the cable. Then hang the cable wherever!
I very rarely remember to print meaningful photos. If I do want to display a photo, I usually just print it at home on photo paper. Otherwise the services I have used are Walmart & Target.
Um, shutterfly, on special occassions (I freaking cannot spell this word!!) (like christmas cards) but truthfully?
I have TEN. YEARS. of pictures on my hard drive. 10 years. I so so suck.
(you look FAB in that red top and scarf!)
want, want, want, want, want. Fingers crossed! I like to either order my prints from Snapfish or have Snapfish send the prints to Walgreen’s.
Ps…I linked the giveaway!
Pps…I LOVE your outfit today!
[…] good motivator is possibly doing a race in February with Kim. Nothing is set in stone, but the thought of doing a race gets me […]
I keep photo albums and have 4X6 prints made for them. I generally order them from Snapfish or Shutterfly and wait until I get an e-mail saying they have penny prints. 🙂
I use Walgreens.com to upload my photos and then I can have them printed and pick them up just about anywhere. I really only print the ones for my scrapbook, though. I should update some of my photos around my house, though!
