We don’t have any plans for our anniversary. Any ideas for us? We have Thursday night together, but have to go to someone else’s wedding on Saturday and might spend the rest of the long weekend with our family.

Happy anniversary! We normally celebrate by going out for dinner. A couple times, we’ve gone to a place about an hour away that has nice little private suites to just enjoy a night away together. This year, we went to Amish Country, Indiana and got a B&B for two nights. It was nice to spend a few days together without our son. This was our 11th.
Happy Anniversary! I swear the Caveman is away on business more often than not on our anniversary. This year though well be in NYC!
Awww… happy anniversary! I hope you guys have a great night celebrating- even if it is just on the couch in front of the tv with popcorn. (which actually sounds quite amazing!)

Troy and I will have our first anniversary of meeting in 2 weeks (went by so fast) and chances are we won’t see each other, but that’s ok, we will this weekend!
We spent our first wedding anniversary at someone else’s wedding. I wasn’t thrilled. We didn’t get to go on a honeymoon and had planned to take one for our first anniversary. Considering my husband was the best man, we had to attend the wedding. We still haven’t been on a honeymoon…
All of our other anniversaries have been pretty low-key. Dinner, maybe a movie.

we try to celebrate a little every year, but some years are more exciting than others. this year, ours is on a Monday. and there’s a volleyball game. so I might see him for a minute 🙂

We haven’t celebrated anniversaries yet. We’ve been together 7 years but don’t have any specific day we celebrate. Maybe that will change when we’re married but who knows.
Congrats! You should definitely plan something for your 5th. The cruise Jason and I took for our 5th was one of the best times we’ve ever had together.
We spent our first anniversary stripping wallpaper and painting our new house. I think our fourth we spent remodeling the bathroom. I’m sensing a theme.

Sweets and I don’t really do anything special for our anniversary. We talk big, but usually wind up having a quiet night in by ourselves. Last year, we happened to plan a trip to NYC over our anniversary weekend and we overlapped with family friends who share the same wedding date (different year), so it was fun celebrating with them … but, that wasn’t meant to be an anniversary trip or anything.

I said the same thing to Doug about our 5th, which is also next year. I really would love to take a trip, A BIG TRIP!!! Who knows if it will happen because he thinks it is more practical to buy a house 🙁

We LOVED our all inclusive stay at The Royal in Playa Del Carmen for our honeymoon!! 🙂 Our anniversary celebrations usually just include a nice dinner out.
