Cloud Nine

NYC BAGEL! After my long run in Central Park. The 15 miles were a success, but now I have the most awful chafing ever! EVER!

Baby Luca… I swear he likes me. Don’t I NOT look like a natural?

I know I won’t be the only one to point out that you DO look like a natural. In fact, my first thought before reading your caption was, “I need to tell her that she looks like a natural!” ๐Ÿ™‚

Chafing sucks!! But that bagel looks delicious. I want one now!
I know how you feel about feeling awkward around babies. I was the baby in my family so I didn’t grow up knowing what to do with them. I’ve gotten better since I have nieces but it’s still weird to me.
    Enjoy your time in NYC!!

    Like a total natural!

I have some icky chaffing right now too, I feel your pain!

    Luca looks hungry ๐Ÿ˜‰

Glad to hear your 15 miles went well! I hope you don’t have too much “below the belt” chaffing. I forgot to Body Glide up my inner thighs today but seem to have escaped chafe-free.

And would it be weird to request an NYC bagel? Do they travel well? Because I really want to know what the hype it all about!

Oh gosh. It was mostly below the belt. It was so awful. UGH…

I will bring you back an assortment of bagels! ๐Ÿ™‚

Absolutely a natural – so so CUTE!!

Sorry about the chaffing – sucks, always. (my inner thighs have way too many scars. urgh.)

I NEED to get back to NYC soon. bagels = heaven ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Awesome job on the fifteen miles in this heat! It doesn’t get much better than NYC bagels ๐Ÿ™‚ And you DO look like a natural ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. I’m so impressed with your staying with training when you’re traveling!

Hi, Kim! Tracy kindly sent me the link to your blog. It was fantastic to meet you during the run in Central Park yesterday. +1 on the chafing…ow ow ow. Hope you have a great time during the rest of your visit!

    • kilax says:

Yay! Thank you for finding my blog! I had so much fun running with you and Tracy! It made the miles fly by ๐Ÿ™‚

What do you use for chafing? I have trouble w/ it on my inner thighs when I get hot, especially in my scrub pants. A cheap, white, stick deodorant helps for a little while, but it’s not a permanent solution.

    • kilax says:

I use vaseline before I run, to prevent it, but did not bring any on this trip. To help with the actual chafing, I used the baby’s cream – some A&E or something stuff?

I don’t knowwwwwwww, it sure seems to look like you’re a natural!

I’ll have my wife put on some of my body glide when she wears skirts. Seems to work for her at least for a little bit.
