If you were a DJ (deejay), what would your DJ name be?
Steven and I have some very interesting conversations on our long car drives back and forth to Iowa (and sometimes Missouri). During one of these trips in the past year, he randomly said to me, “I figured out what my DJ name would be if I was a DJ.” Of course, I had to ask, “What would it be?” He responded, “DJ Couscous.”
I laughed out loud. That name just sounds so funny, and we make couscous a lot, so, it just made me laugh.
On Sunday’s drive back to Illinois, we decided it was time to come up with my DJ name. We went through a lot of ideas before we settled on DJ Chickpea. Since I like chickpeas so much, and am a chick (and because of the whole healthy lifestyle thing – DJ 5K was another idea).
So, we’re DJ Couscous and DJ Chickpea. Of course, we know nothing about actual deejaying, we were just having fun. We started brainstorming DJ names for our family members too, but they’re not exactly finalized… or entirely appropriate.
What would your name be? If you can’t come up with anything on your own I found this little DJ name generator… but it’s kind of lame!

Using the generator my name would be DJ Skinny Nerd.. hehe. I’m not sure what I’d pick for myself. Any thoughts?

I cant think of mine, but my sister likes to refer to herself as DJ Scribbles 😉

I’ve known my RAP name for a long time, which would translate well to a DJ name. It’s KK RoCo. It has to do with my real name…the “Ro” being for Rose, my middle name 🙂

In our group that studied in England together, one of the guys did DJ (just for himself and whatnot – low key, but he’s awesome at it) but he didn’t have a DJ name for himself. Another one of the guys in our group gave him the name DJ Scratch-n-Sniff. Which he despised. Which of course made up think it was even more hilarious. I thought of it randomly yesterday and always makes me smile and laugh.

I did that DJ generator thing and it said mine is “DJ FLY SUGAR” – that is cracking me up.
Mine is “DJ Naked Fluffernutter” loll but i should be DJ Beatbox 😛
