Another sappy one
Today’s Little Gift of Kindness calendar prompt reads “If you know someone who is pregnant, take today to let them know you are thinking of them.”
I have a very special friend right now who is expecting in April, and I could not be happier or more excited for her and her husband. We just spent a lot of time with them, and I just got that wonderful feeling that their child is going to have such a loving home and such wonderful, caring parents. Friend, I AM thinking of you. Every day. Seeing you glowing and beautiful, and the way your husband cares for you and talks of your future child filled me with so much joy. Love you, friend.
And I have a lot of other blogger friends who are expecting and a few who are trying to get pregnant! I feel the same way for you, friends! (And for my friends who have had children in the last year – Eric, Nilsa, Shannon, Adam – thank you so much for sharing your newborn adventures with us!).

I know a few people expecting but none of them live close by. It really makes you realize how “grown up” you are when all your friends are getting married and having babies.

Some very good friends just had a baby last week – I am hoping to get over there sometime this week to meet him. I adore pregnancy and newborns…such an exciting time in someone’s life…
One of my closest friends is expecting her second son in July! Can’t believe she is on her second already…I can’t even imagine having one in my life right now!
I can’t imagine it either… now or ever!
haha ohmygosh what a great photo! and yes, from your comment I do live in Naperville ha. Where did you go to college in IA? I went to a small one in Dubuque, IA called Loras. It def was different then where I grew up which I’m so happy about ha. but as I said before “home is where the heart is”
I went to Iowa State University, but am from Waterloo 🙂

I totally know where that is. My grandparents live in Guttenberg (near by) and we go there a lot in the summer!

Aw, sappy is sweet! I don’t think I know anyone who is pregnant right now. One of my friends from h.s. just had a baby last month and I went to visit her a few days ago. Newborns are sweet. They just sleep a lot but look so lovely!

Yes! I know about 3 blog friends, one I’m especially close to, who are expecting. Nobody in real life, though.
Great Data picture! I don’t have any friends who are preggers, but I spent time with my friend Angela and her baby on Saturday and it made me really happy because I think she is such a great mom. Her boys are so lucky. 🙂
I know a few people who are expecting. One of which being my high school boyfriend. I was jealous, until I found out it was a boy and I dont have to worry about him stealing my girl baby name – now Im happy for him. 🙂

A bunch of my friends have had kids in recent years, but I don’t think anyone is expecting just now.
someone very close in my life is expecting. not once, twice, but possibly three times. so excited.
Someone VERY close to me is expecting in May. She’s going to have my very first grandbaby!! 🙂 And how cool am I that I’m taking my 4-month-old granddaughter to Vegas in September for my wedding…LOL
