Waist Belts II
Yeah?
Yeah?
No.
Can’t say I didn’t try.
Don’t worry Christina, I didn’t stretch your belt out!
Can you tell I just got done working out and still have a sports bra on? Ha! Note: those are NOT leggings I wear as clothes. They are leggings I wear as WORKOUT clothes!
Back story: I drew my sister’s name for holiday gifts this year. She selected some clothes for me to give her, and this belt was one of the things she selected. It’s still at my house, so… fair game for a quick try?
Oh duh, she had this sweater open when she modeled it. D’oh.
Uh… me not so good at following by example.
Who is the fashionista in your family? Can you guess who it is in mine…?
I think it looks good! Data looks really creepy in that first pic……
Data’s expression in the first picture is AWESOME.
totally my sister ellen. i am the one always in running capri tights, white tank, visor and running shoes, and ellen is in her fur heeled boots, leggies and some crazy top all accessorized to the skies. she’s always telling me i need to be more adventurous, but i prefer…predictable. i am so sad…
by the way, totally love the belt, but that would be one of the things i would love to try, but don’t know if i have the confidence to pull it off because its out of my Gap/Old Navy comfort zone. and i really think confidence goes a long way when pushing the fashion limits.
I think some people just have a knack for fashion! It’s funny when it is split that way between siblings though! I definitely dress more “sporty” too 😉
my sister is totally the fashionista. The reason I have 2 waist belts but don’t look nearly as cute so haven’t worn them 🙂
Oh wow!!! Data is a lolcat! The look of horror… I’m so sorry, I had to say it…
That is what his expression is saying!
I am an only child so I may be the fashionista and the worst dresser! Depends on the day!
I don’t think anyone in my famiy is the fashionista. Maybe my cousin… but she lives in CT so I rarely see her. I don’t have a sister, but if I did I bet she’d be more fashionable than I am. haha.
Love Data’s face in the first pic!!!
LOL – When I saw Joey’s comment “Love Data’s face in the first pic!!!” I totally had to go back up and take a look. Needless to say, I agree with Joey.
I am only moderately fashionable, but the best thing about being a guy is that even moderately is acceptable. Hooray!
Did you wait and take that picture when Data was all “O.O” or is that just a coincidence?
I actually think the belt looks fine in the first picture. The latest issue of Real Simple has a section in it on belts for every body shape but I can’t remember what it said. I’ll have to share it with you at some point.
That Data pic is purely coincidence. I find it funny that he has to be in most photos (and even that stupid video I made!).
Thanks. I wonder what my belt shape is. Not super skinny. And probably not large-and-in-charge.
I have to say that I’m not a huge “belt” person. I have a few black and brown leather belts and maybe one or two fabric belts, and that is enough for me. I know other people do use belts more ‘decoratively’, but I think that I prefer a more paredd-down style. It’s not that I’m NOT stylish, but I can’t go overboard on accessories.
Can we talk about Data’s face in that first picture?
I think my mom is way more fashionable than I am! Well, pretty much everyone in the family is more fashionable! Except my dad. I guess I take after him.
I love the sweater!
I have a really high waist and small hips so almost anything meant for a “normal” waist looks weird on me. :p
Ha ha, Data does look totally evil in that first picture.
omg… Data is too funny!!!
I have been meaning to comment on this post for a while, but this has been an insane month! Personally, I think you look absolutely ADORABLE in the waist belt. Sweater open or closed, I really like that look on you. OK, that is all – I had to tell you. 🙂
I can’t do the waist belts either. Your sister is adorable in it though….but I do think you could have rocked it if the sweater wasn’t closed.
